As an artist, it is my aim to depict through sculpture, painting, photography, music, and whatever medium may present itself, the raw characteristics of life, and simplify the over complicated world we live in today.  Our manipulation on the environment we live in is ever creeping and expanding. Because of this, it is easy as a species to begin to feel bigger than nature, and even God like. However one of the greatest feelings is quite the opposite. The understanding of the smallness of humanity and  insignificance when contrasted with all that exists is something that easily sweeps over your mind when on a beach looking out across a seemingly infinite ocean, or standing on a high cliff surveying the vast landscape. It excites curiosity, the desire for exploration, and the need to seize the moment.
